A fully family owned business since 1936
Established in 1936 in Hubli by Mr. Bhaskar Gore, United Agencies was the sole distributor for medicines manufactured by Dhootapapeshwar Pvt. Ltd., Panvel. Medicines were dispatched all over the state to established doctors and pharmacies.

 

In 1957 a branch of United Agencies was opened in Bangalore at Sultanpet, to be able to meet the increasing demand for the medicines. Mr. Bhaskar Gore was joined by his son Mr. Sharad Gore, a B.Pharm graduate from Benaras Hindu University and Dr. Shripad Gore, a Ph.D in Botany from Aurangabad University.

Mr. Sharad Gore travelled all over the state to develop and build on the existing clientele. Over a period of years United Agencies has become a stockiest for Nagarjuna Herbal Concentrates Ltd., Amrita Drugs, Shree Baidyanath Ayurved Bhawan, Dabur, Phyto pharma, Jaffman pharamaceuticals, New Bhuvanendra, Medilinks, and Solumiks Herbaceuticals, to name a few.

 

In 1989 Dr. Sadashiv Gore, a BAMS graduate from Government College of Indian Medicine, Bangalore, joined his father Mr. Sharad Gore at the Bangalore branch. Subsequently, an ayurvedic clinic was also opened at United Agencies premises with Dr. Gore as the consulting physician.

United Agencies has amongst its clients, Sri Sri Ayurveda Trust, Bangalore, JSS Ayurveda Hospital, Mysore, Purnayu Ayurveda Hospital, Bangalore, Lohadrava Pharmacy, Bangalore, apart from well-established doctors and pharmacies in Mysore, Tumkur, Hassan, Shimoga, Mandya, and Bangalore.
